Training Philosophy of Fletcher Pilates:

An estimated 12 million people around the world practice Pilates. Conceived and developed in the early part of the last century by Joseph Pilates along with his wife Clara, German immigrants who settled in New York. It is a series of movements designed to build strengthand balance.

Ron Fletcher is one of Joseph Pilates' original students. He has taught his refined version of the program for five decades. Only a small number of students pass Ron's rigorous training and Lisa Priebe is one of them. Arguably one of the most sound physical conditioning programs ever developed, Fletcher Pilates is characterized by a simple yet profound duality: strengthen the core and lengthen the body. Applying these principles to precise movements results in greater strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and stamina--leading to optimal physical grace and overall fitness.

Programs Personally Designed for the Individual:

Private Instruction: This is the best way to see fast results and the most effective way of committing your workout techniques into your body's memory. You will be shown the subtle difference between good technique and excellent technique. Most students are surprised to find how quickly their bodies get it".

Private instruction is particularly useful for achieving specific goals and mixing various workout disciplines.

Group Instruction: Class size is deliberately kept small and the environment is motivational and supportive. Students often combine their weekly individual instruction with group instruction in order to mix things up. Common goals and a little perspiration seem to inspire a healthy camaraderie.

Duets: The best of both worlds! Students may work out with afriend or Lisa will select a partner based on complimentary fitness goals. Duets allow students to work with focus and supportive motivation.

Sampler: An introductory session to help you and Lisa determine your goals and needs. You will be introduced to the various equipment to determine what is the proper approach for your ongoing training.
